Superior Picture

Having upgraded to this from LG's C1 from 2 years ago, I didn't know if I'd be that blown away, but I was wrong. The MLA on the OLED screen certainly makes a difference. The picture is stunning, clear, crisp and bright. Motion is great now with no real issues at all. Watching the new Avatar is looked utterly amazing in Dolby Vision, it was crystal clear and so vibrant. SDR content is also a lot brighter, especially in Filmmaker Mode which is the most accurate out of the box. The sound on these thinner wall mountable sets (I bought the official stand) is always a little on the thin side and thats no different here, not to say it isn't great for what it is, it does still sound good, especially if all you want is TV sound. It has eARC which works as expected and this year has the bonus of DTS decoding which certainly helps with Blu-Rays and the upcoming IMAX ENHANCED content. I tested it with a surround system and my HomePods and it sounds fantastic and does a good job of transferring the audio with little to no lag. Gaming on this is as usual fantastic, allowing for full 48gbps on HDMI it allows me to play in 4K 120hz HDR and Dolby Vision and looks stunning doing it. One thing I have noticed is Game Mode is slightly muted colour wise compared to Filmmaker Mode or any other mode, I'm hoping this will addressed in an update. There are a huge amount of settings on the TV to tinker with to get it exactly how you want and it includes voice assistants from the big brands which I test and works well along with HomeKit integration as well. I like the new already ready feature, which is customisable but could be a little more so in future updates, but would work great if you have it on a wall and want it to blend in well. Overall I'm really pleased with it. The design and build is sturdy (the optional stand is a little flimsy) and the picture is probably the best on the market at the moment. It has a huge amount of features and is a very capable TV. I usually find after a hundred or so hours the pictures embeds a bit and gets even better so I'm looking forward to that. It's definitely the best TV I've ever owned or reviewed (and I've had a few).
